Set square
A set square is a useful tool for mathematics to measure lines, draw lines, and measure angles. It is a flat, transparent plastic triangle. It combines a ruler and a protractor.
The long side (ruler): It has markings in centimeters and millimeters to measure distances or draw straight lines. The zero point is exactly in the middle.
The protractor: The slanted edges have numbers from 0 to 180 degrees. You can use this to measure and draw angles.
The angles: A standard set square has one 90-degree angle and two 45-degree angles.
The perpendicular line: A special line in the middle that helps in drawing perfectly right angles and parallel lines.
