A compass is a useful tool with two legs for drawing circles, making arcs, and measuring distances.
The point: One leg has a sharp point that you fix at the center.
The pencil: The other leg has a pencil or marker to draw the circle.
Fixed distance: You can fix the distance between the legs to use the same measurement.
